She put the bag of garbage from her room (which is, pardon me, lazy and fucking gross) in them, and put them in the storage closet none of us knew we had. (The day I got here, Mum and I tested every door on the floor that wasn't an apartment looking for the laundry room and only one opened - and it was the laundry room.)
So she isn't as evil as I thought she was, but it still would have been nice if she'd said she was moving my shit, or at least asked if I minded her moving it. And had just taken her fucking garbage out instead of locking it in a non-ventilated room. It's been there, like, a week. Ewwwwww.

"To: Everyone
1. Clean as you go
2. Keep [k]nitting in room unless it is being used
3. Keep items in room unless using them
4. Keep all but one or 2 pairs of shoes in room"
This note was from the other roommate (that is, not
It isn't even entirely what she said that's pissing me off, it's more how she said it - leaving this note, written in the imperative voice, as if these are The Rules and That's All There Is To It. I have to admit, though, the fact that she went through the stuff on the coffee table and moved it all to the edge of the living room (throwing out daimeera's afghan pattern and nearly making me have to tear out 200 stitches from one of my knitting projects in the process) also irritates me.
Today, she washed dishes (ignoring what I had told her about my cast iron pan, and putting it away with water in it), emptied the garbage and recycling (while putting recyclables in the garbage, recyclables that we can get MONEY for in the normal recycling, and subsequently leaving it in the hallway outside our apartment), and piled the things from the top of the coffee table in a milk crate on the edge of the living room, including my afghan, which I brought for the living room.
So, yes, she has finally done something other than make the mess, but at the same time, I am really ticked by her passive-aggressive behaviour. Like, she seems to want everything to be totally spotless and, well, this isn't JUST her apartment. I should be able to leave a scarf I'm knitting on the coffee table, or a book, or whatever - it's the living room, it's a common area. We should be able to LIVE in it, hence the name "living room". And her "clean as you go" is irritating me because, well, I do DO dishes every day. I don't think that doing the dishes in the evening or whatever is unreasonable - it takes less time to do them all at once, less water, and is less tiring (particularly for one of my other roommates, who has CFS). The other night I left some stuff in the sink because it was after midnight and I had just got home from work and was tired and wanted to go to bed. It isn't like anything has been left long enough to go mouldy or something - I don't think anything has been left for 24 hours even.
It just feels like it'll start with this and then, y'know, grow to "no TV after X" or "no cooking before Y" or "no friends over between Z and A" or something. And if it gets to that, well, I'll probably stop being reasonable and give her a big ol' FUCK YOU, particularly since she has, so far, put on music loud enough that we had to jack up the TV volume super high, and on another occasion I could hear it over my music in my room with my door shut.
Neither I nor anyone else has talked to her yet because 1) she went home for the weekend this morning (which makes it seem even more passive-aggressive to me) and 2) I wanted to find out if I was the only one irritated.
So... yeah. I'm pissed off, but am I overreacting? Honest opinions, people. Srsly.

I figured I should make an actual, real post, haha, as opposed to spastic, joyous, or not-so-joyous flailing, fandom or otherwise.
One exam left, tomorrow morning at nine: Sociology 100. Not too worried about it, going to start studying in a bit. Wrote Computer Science today, and am almost guaranteed to fail it, due to my prof being a total fucking dickwad. Long story very, very short, among other things, he decided to do shit with us that mostly only gets don eby third year CompSci majors, and is not supposed to be covered in the 100 class at ALL. Bastard.
Wrote my Celtic Civ final yesterday, and it went pretty good - I also got back the paper I'd been practically tearing my soul out and bleeding over and loathing and suchlike. If you're on my AIM, you may have seen my username being something about That Damn Paper. Another long story short, it was my term paper worth 30 points on my final grade, and it shouldn't have been hard, but it was completely killing me. It gave me more trouble than any other paper I've ever written for university - including the 19 pages I wrote for my Creative Writing final - and I spent more time on it, too. It was supposed to be eight to ten pages. I ended up handing in five pages of, IMO, total shit, three days after the extension the prof had given me ended. Considering this, I'm not actually displeased with the 19/30 I got.
Friday is moving day. Well, moving-my-shit-day, since I'm not actually going home until Saturday night or Sunday morning, depending on how late the staff banquet on Saturday night runs. We'll see, anyway.
Jessica will be back in Pictou county on Sunday, too, as you may have figured out from my last post. I start work on Monday, babysitting the same seven kids I did last year for May and June. I'm looking forward to it, sinc eI haven't seen them since Christmas and rather miss them! <3
...But really, thanks. :DDDDD I'm getting SO stoked and so excited for all these ideas we have! And the fact that there's ACTUAL STUFF on the profile page and main page of the comm now! Okay, fine, it's just little wee profiles for Sam and Derek, and an itty bitty, incomplete intro post. BUT! Soon we will have PRETTY GRAPHICS! And ICONS! And ACTUAL CONTENT! And STUFF! And
Well, ideally. XDD The fans will likely be a long time coming, sadly, lol, but we'll have to see. Maybe we'll get lucky and internet-famous, haha. XD
Residence is kinda depressing lately, not in the least because my beloved Gilmora (where I live this year and lived last year) isn't going to be residences next year. On Friday at 12.01 PM, the construction guys are showing up to remove furniture and walls and start renovations to make it the Music Department and offices. ;-; I have to go around Gil either tonight or tomorrow and take pictures before Gil is no longer "my" Gil.
Also, it's starting to get rather empty and quiet. I haven't even noticed the nun around lately. I wonder what she's going to do next year when she doesn't have her residents around to mother by making the lights do weird things when you should be going to bed? (Among other things, lol. XD)
I've worked rather a lot this week, and will be working more, lol. Sunday I was 4PM-8PM, Monday I was the same shift, I work 8PM-152AM last night, am working a double shift from 4PM-12AM today (right now), and am working another double shift from 4PM to 12AM tomorrow, and Joan's lunch hour on Friday, either 12.30-1.30 or 1.2, depending on when I finish packing my crap into the car. Which technically has to be by 12.00 because of the aforementioned furniture-and-wall-removing construction dudes, but I plan to have something to eat before working.
I was trying to figure out what the hell I was going to DO all day Friday, since I can't hang out in my room and Sam-my-computer will be packed up and sent back to Pictou County with my mum, seeing as he's a desktop and I can't cart him around with me, lol. Then someone reminded me that the campus computers labs will still be open, probably, and the library definitely will be. : DDDDD Something tells me I'll be spending all day Friday and probably most of the day Saturday holed up in the labs.
I'm going to miss the

MARKS WERE IN AT NINE AM TODAY. I AM PLEASED WITH THEM. MY BEST SET OF UNI MARKS EVER!
Intro to Computing: 70 (I slacked off leik woah because I was learning virtually nothing, so this is good. XD)
Intro to Creative Writing: 76 (Dr. Lynes is a hard marker, so I'm pleased. Also, didn't do critiques for two sets of poems, so no complaints here)
Survey of 20th Century Lit: 89 (BOOYAH! BEST UNI MARK EVER!)
Intro to Sociology: 67 (Three of the five people in my group did virtually no work so our paper never got handed in, so our project mark was based entirely on our presentation, so this is pretty good. Also, I pretty much didn't study at all for any of the tests, the midterm, or the December exam. Er-hem. Bad me, no cookie. XD)
My average is 75.5!!!! Eeeeeee~~~! YAY!! (This means that my average is plenty high to keep my job~! Woot!)

At any rate, in case I never mentioned it (though I'm PRETTY sure I did) my current roommmate is a business student from Beijing who has transferred to X. Her name is Vivi, and she's a sweetheart.
If slightly vicious. Or something.
Last Saturday, after I finally got up, her and I were chatting, and I said something about pain and bruises, and the conversation went something like this...
Me: Yeah, it was fun, but now I'm sore and have bruises. XD *shows bruised arm*
Vivi: Oh, you do. *pokes the biggest one*
Me: Ow. ;_;
Vivi: *laughs at me*
So yeah, she's mostly a sweetheart. Then today, I was getting my wash stuff to take a shower, and this happened...
Me: I'm going in the shower, so if you leave, please don't lock the door, since I don't have my keys.
Vivi: Okay.
Me: Thanks; being locked out of the room in a towel and having to call Security would be awkward. XD
Vivi: *pause* I think I want to see that.
Me: : ( Mean~!
Vivi: *snickers*
The door was unlocked when I got back, BTW. XD
