Massive lawls at that article. Geesh, they pulled out every evil!feminist trope in the book. My, my, my. In vague relation, I have noticed, though, that many WS departments are being renamed Gender Studies. Which is great, as long as they actually offer courses and programs pertaining to BOTH genders, which unfortunately, most don't (as someone writing their thesis on masculinity and planning on studying historical constructions masculinity at the graduate level, this irks me to no end). Said programs are just using the word gender as a cover-up, to make themselves appear more advanced in their offerings than they actually are, or in some rare cases, to appear more 'legit.' (This is not at all to say that I am against WS as WS. But puh-lease, let's call it that if that's what it is.)

And of course, to inter-gender persons, too. Because yo, gender be fluid and all that good stuffs (which is another thing some programs mysteriously fail to account for).
